Ned Joyner
Communications Manager
Ned Joyner is the communications manager at the Center for Earth Ethics, where he manages the website, newsletter and publications.
Ned studied cultural and linguistic anthropology at Indiana University. He has a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, where he focused on religion and ecology. In 2022, Union awarded him the Muilenburg Prize in Biblical Scholarship and the Wyn Wright Prize for Biblical Languages, and in 2023, the Scholarly Excellence Award. He completed his M.Div. field education at Columbia Climate School.
Born and raised in rural Indiana, Ned and his wife, Charlotte, live in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Ned and Charlotte are passionate musicians, and play together in a folk duo called Tattercoats.
