Roberto Múkaro Borrero is a long-time advocate for the rights of Indigenous peoples; a chief of the Guainía Taíno Tribe; president of the United Confederation of Taíno People; and a strategic advisor for the Center for Earth Ethics.
Olivia “Liv” Watyana’li:yo Bigtree is Onyota’a:ka (People of the Standing Stone), Turtle Clan. A CEE fellow, Liv is participating in a student in the Kanien’kéha Ratiwennahní:rats Adult Language Immersion Program learning Kanien’kéha (Mohawk Language).
Clara Chavez-Ives is a research associate at the Center for Earth Ethics. She is passionate about dismantling the false dichotomy between natural and urban spaces.
Eugenia “Genie” Cooper is a native of Houston Texas where she graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting. She is a 2014 graduate of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.

Tory is raised and shaped by the fierceness of her love for ocean, plants, open sky, and family of all contours. She has spent over 20 years farming, working for social justice organizations, writing and studying plant medicine.
Maggie Greenfield joined the Center for Earth Ethics in May 2025 as managing director, bringing her passion for climate adaptation and environmental justice to her work at the CEE.
