Navigating Flood Disasters and Housing Justice: A Preparedness Forum for NYC Religious and Community Leaders
In collaboration with the Faith Sector Community Preparedness Program and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, NYDIS hosts training summits for New York City religious leaders. The summits, which feature presentations and interactive discussions, will increase knowledge on disaster preparedness and crisis leadership, while connecting NYC clergy to preparedness tools, resources, and partnerships. Join us on Monday, September 18 at 6 p.m. for “Hearing Nature’s Voice,” a discussion of why humans must shift away from their extractive and destructive dispositions towards nature.
