Women’s Water Walk

CEE is excited to co-sponsor the Women’s Water Walk, a 113 mile women-led prayer walk to stop the proposed Constitution Pipeline. The walk, which men are also encouraged to join and support, begins August 8 near Damascus, N.Y., and will continue for two weeks, until August 23, through towns along the proposed pipeline route. We will sing together as we walk and make prayers at the many rivers, lakes and waterways that cross our path.  At the end of each day there will be a community gathering to discuss and develop a list of solutions, actions and legislative agendas—focusing not only on what we seek to stop, but also on what we are trying to build.
