Current environmental crises often stem from the belief that we are separate from our natural world and focus on human development.  What can we learn from an Indigenous perspective?

Join on Tuesday, October 14, at noon EDT for “Restoring a Connection to Nature: A Native American Perspective” with CEE Original Caretakers Senior Fellow Mona Polacca.

The UN 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals repeatedly call for valuing the Indigenous perspective yet they rarely have a seat at the table. What does it mean to be Indigenous? How can we better care for biodiversity, food systems, ecosystem restoration or water?

All are welcome to this wonderful opportunity to learn directly from a traditional Indigenous elder who has worked extensively in the realm of social and environmental justice
