Gore to Deliver Harvard Design School 2024 Class Day Address
Karenna Gore, founder and executive director of the Center for Earth Ethics, will address the graduating class of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts during Class Day exercises on Wednesday, May 22.
Ceremonies begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
A graduate of Harvard College, Gore earned her law degree from Columbia Law School and a master’s degree in social ethics from Union Theological Seminary. She established the Center for Earth Ethics at UTS in 2015. She is also visiting professor of practice of earth ethics at UTS.
Gore’s address will take place in the Gund Hall Backyard and will be live streamed.
Established in 1936, the Harvard Graduate School of Design is “dedicated to the education and development of professionals in architecture, landscape, urban planning, urban design, and other design-related disciplines.” Offering both masters and doctoral degrees, the GSD has more than 13,000 alumni worldwide.
