Karenna Gore Joins COP30 Wisdom Live Conversation Series
While at COP30 in Belém, Karenna Gore joined Maureen Goodman and Golo Pilz for a live conversation as part of the Brahma Kumaris “Climate Wisdom“ series. Gore reflected on the moral dimensions of the climate crisis and the urgent need for a shift in values to accompany policy and technical solutions. She laid out some core themes of the Global Ethical Stocktake.
The Global Ethical Stocktake is very much a kind of portal that we are trying to go through to another level of consciousness. There are many different ways of knowing—different knowledge systems that offer really important ways that we can know the Earth, our own bodies and our minds in a deeper, more honest way. People are very disassociated in today's culture—from their own bodies, from nature and so on. And I do take some hope from sensing that there is an unseen world of energies that can be tapped into for good. There's too many times I've felt evidence of this to discount it. So whatever you can do to see things differently in this moment will bring a great blessing.
