Online | Global Reflections on Faith and Food Systems: Policymakers and International Leaders Sharing Insights

On Monday, June 26, at 11 a.m. (New York time), the Faith + Food Coalition will host the first of three online briefings addressing food systems transformation and global food security. This is the first of three planned briefings leading up to the UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment in Rome in July.

Confirmed speakers include Iyad Abu Moghli (UNEP Faith for Earth), Laura De Matteis (Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN), Lina Mahy (World Health Organization), Oliver Oliveros (Agroecology Coalition), and Rukshana Nanayakkara  (International Land Coalition/IFAD). CEE Senior Advisor Gopal Patel will moderate.

The series, “Global Reflections on Faith and Food Systems: A Progress Review on the UN Food Systems Summit,” will bring together the leaders and representatives of faith-based organizations, interfaith groups and key decision-makers within the UN system.
