CEE to Partner at NYC Climate Reality Training

The Center for Earth Ethics is excited to be a partner organization for The Climate Reality Leadership Training at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from April 12-14. This training will explore the reality of the current climate crisis, as well as ideas and solutions that can help us build a more sustainable and just future. Attendees will hear from a wide selection of powerful speakers, and choose from a number of panels and breakout sessions that explore our climate crisis from many vantage points.

The primary themes to be explored are:

1. Financing a Net-Zero Future
2. Fossil Fuels and the Fight for Climate Justice
3. Building Resilient Communities with Clean Energy, Green Jobs and Local Innovation
4. The War on Truth
5. The Future is in Our Hands

CEE will offer a skill-building session on Saturday entitled “Hearing Nature’s Voice: Embodied Ethics for the Climate Movement.” We will also help curate the Wellness Space and facilitate the Faith and Climate Justice Luncheon

This free training is a wonderful opportunity to be in community with others who are concerned about climate and environmental issues and ready to build the movement we need. Attendees join a cohort of over 45,000 change makers who have taken previous Climate Reality Leadership trainings.
